A new developer is tapping a booming North Texas city for the first in a series of communities with a health-centric twist. Zeal for Living, based in Boulder, Colo., has started construction of 237 single-family homes and town homes on 25 acres within Sherman's Hickory Hill master-planned community at the intersection of Lamberth and Friendship Roads, south of U.S. Highway 82. The full Hickory Hill development is 183 acres and controlled by Foreland Development, according to Zeal. The rental community will have a mix of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom duplexes, town homes and detached cottages.
