News Construction is closing the westbound U.S. 82 exit to U.S. 75 in Sherman. (KTEN) SHERMAN, Texas (KTEN) — There's a big change coming at the intersection of two major Sherman highways. Starting Tuesday, the Texas Department of Transportation says motorists who are westbound on U.S. 82 will find that the exit ramp to U.S. 75 (642A) has been permanently closed as part of a highway modernization project. Signs will direct drivers to the Loy Lake Road exit (642B) about 1/4 mile ahead of the closed ramp.
