News SHERMAN, Texas (KTEN) -- Since Texas Instruments and GlobalWafers announced major expansions to their Sherman operations, other manufacturers are reaching out to the city when it comes to land on which to build. The latest company to express interest is Tokyo Electron . Sherman Mayor David Plyler said that company would generate 100 additional jobs. "The exact nature their business is something that hasn't been disclosed yet, although we do know obviously that it's silicon-related," Plyler said.
