NewsSHERMAN, Texas (KTEN)—The Sherman public library and Sherman ISD began their 34th annual Authorfest at district middle schools. Each year, an author visits schools to give talks and sign books. The event brings in authors from a variety of backgrounds."They see those big name authors who don't look anything like them, and so they might think that those are the stories that are worth telling, but everybody has stories worth telling," said Melissa Eason, service administrator for the Sherman public library.
