News Jason Haynie of Sherman was arrested for aggravated assault. (Grayson County Jail) SHERMAN, Texas (KTEN) — Jason Allen Haynie Jr. of Sherman was arrested Thursday for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Sherman officers responded to a call of a man chasing and threatening people with a knife at the 900 block of East Wells Street around 1 a.m. Thursday. Officers located Haynie, 26, and arrested him. No injuries were reported. Bond for Haynie was set at $10,000.
