News SHERMAN, Texas (KTEN) — Wednesday was National School Resource Officer Day. The Sherman Independent School District honored their SROs for their service to students and faculty. "I'm so thankful and blessed to be here," said Sherman ISD police Chief Heath Wester. "I have a great crew. The officers love the faculty, love our students. We're just treated with the upmost respect, and it's just a great environment."
